In the morning of October 21, 2012 a Ford F-250 was used as a battering ram to break into The Wishing Well Gas Station and Convenience Store, Pentwater’s only gas station for 66 years. The teen capers made off with a few packs of cigarettes and a couple bottles of booze, but didn’t make it far as they crashed their stolen pickup truck into a tree a few hundred yards away from the store. Police dog Rex of the Mason County Sheriff Dept found one of the trouble makers and the men and woman of the Oceana and Mason County Sheriff’s Dept are on the lookout for the second suspect.
